About Two Maids & A Mop Mandeville

I’m Jay Meral, the owner of Two Maids & A Mop of Mandeville, Louisiana. I established this location in August 2017. Back in 1998, I started my own software company, which produced software for school foodservice all across the United States. The growth of that business exceeded over 300 school districts nationwide. When I sold the company in 2014, an interest sparked in starting another venture and a new chapter in my life.

I was fortunate to have stumbled across Two Maids & A Mop. And while a cleaning business was not even on my radar, I was intrigued after my initial research. Two Maids & A Mop provided the opportunity to invest in a semi-absentee model business in which that was something that I was looking for. After speaking with several other franchise owners that invested in the same way, I was blown away. From the corporate values and culture to their Cleaning For A Reason program, I knew I had found what I was looking for! Cleaning For A Reason is the company's commitment to improving the lives of women undergoing cancer treatment by cleaning their homes for free, so that program was something I really wanted to be a part of.

While I am a semi-absentee owner, my wife and I remain actively involved in Two Maids Mandeville. We are very thankful for the residents of St. Tammany Parish that trust in our team to enter their homes each day and do our part to make their lives just a bit easier and cleaner.
